Our Masters rowing team focuses on building health, technique, teamwork, and community. From first-time novices to national champions, we keep the ego low so everyone can row. In addition to getting on the water, Masters rowers pitch in to fix boats, do outreach, write grants, and keep the club running. DRC Masters is great for getting your workout and your connection at the same place.
We train from March through October on the water, three days per week, with optional erg training in the off season. In addition to practicing, we usually take at least one field trip to row with other clubs, like Vashon Rowing, and choose a couple races to compete in, including our own Dieter Hotz Regatta.
